Pat McAffee Return Date

Pat McAffee has been absent from the Friday night Smackdown commentary team for a number of weeks due to his on going commitment to ESPN’s College Game Day.

WWE announced the new Smackdown commentary team of Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, who will be beginning from the season premiere of Smackdown this Saturday.

Dave Meltzer has reported that McAffee will return to WWE in January and expects him to re-join the Smackdown commentary team. It is unknown if McAffee will join Cole and Barrett and become a 3 men booth, or if Barrett will be replaced.

WWE Smackdown airs at 10am on FOX8 on Saturday mornings.
