Whilst recently speaking on the Wrassingh Show, Kurt Angle was asked if accepting a contract with AEW would jeopardize his relationship with WWE. Angle responded by saying that he wants to maintain his relationship with WWE and doesn’t want a repeat of his departure for TNA/Impact Wrestling back in 2006.
‘They’re talking about maybe me doing something at Wrestlemania. They are always reaching out to me to help do media and stuff like that, kind of like an ambassador for the company.’
Angle further explained on the potential Wrestlemania appearance. ‘It’s just an idea. It won’t be in a wrestling capacity at all. There is nothing there yet’.
Kurt Angle last appeared on an episode of Raw back in August, which was broadcast from his hometown, Pittsburgh.
